Our Story

Founded in the 1930, Kingston is our home and community. We’re dedicated to bringing quality eye wear and exceptional services to our customers and patients, as well as to our neighbours and friends. Acting as a full eye wear service station for all eye wear, we specialize in repairs, sales and servicing.

John Durst

John is the owner, operator and chief optician of Kingston’s Optical Factory. John has 25+ years of experience as an optician; obtaining his certification from Georgian College in 1986.

STORE HOURS as of June 15th, 2021: MONDAY – FRIDAY: 9:30am to 5:00pm, SATURDAY: 10:00am to 3:00pm, SUNDAY: Closed.
